Carina Saunders was in her first year as assistant Women’s Volleyball coach at MATC after playing for the team during the 2005 season.
Saunders played in sixty-five games for the WolfPack during the 2005 season. She earned Wisconsin Technical College Conference (WTCC) athletic honors, WTCC Distinguished Academic honors and was one of four National Junior College Athletic Association academic All-Americans for the college during the 2005 season. Before attending MATC, Saunders went to Ashford University where she played volleyball and competed in track & field.
She grew up in Oregon, WI and attended Oregon High School. In high school she earned letters in volleyball and basketball.
She has helped with volleyball camps at Oregon High School, for Midwest Juniors and at MATC. She currently is on staff with Midwest Juniors.
