Carina Saunders is in her second year as MATC assistant Women’s Volleyball coach after playing for the team during the 2005 season and coaching during the 2006 season. Saunders played in sixty-five games for the WolfPack during the 2005 season. She earned Wisconsin Technical College Conference (WTCC) All-Conference honors, WTCC Distinguished Academic All-Conference honors and was one of four NJCAA Academic All-Americans for the college last season.
Before attending MATC, Saunders went to Ashford University where she played volleyball and competed in Track & Field. She grew up in Oregon, WI and attended Oregon High School. In high school she earned letters in volleyball and basketball. She has helped with volleyball camps at Oregon H.S., for Midwest Juniors and at MATC. She is currently on staff with Midwest Juniors.
