Ashley (Smit) Kehoe is in her first year as assistant women’s volleyball coach at MATC.
Smit grew up in Bourbonnais, IL, where she attended Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School. She was a two-sport athlete earning letters in both volleyball and soccer. The two-year all-conference volleyball performer was also a team captain and team MVP.
After high school, Smit attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. She was a four-year volleyball letterwinner and track & field athlete for the Thunder. She received CCIW All-Conference honors in her junior and senior seasons at the NCAA DIII school. Smit graduated in 2005 with a bachelors degree in Sociology. She currently is on staff with Midwest Juniors.
