Andrea Bauer

Andrea Bauer is entering her first season as an assistant coach for the Madison College women's volleyball team.

Bauer moves from the court to the bench after two record-setting years in a WolfPack uniform, and will do so a longtime assistant Ashley Davis takes over as head coach. Named the 2016 North Central Community College Conference Player of the Year and a National Junior College Athletic Association All-American, Bauer is a two-time first team all-conference honoree, while also earning All-Region IV and Region IV All-Tournament accolades as a sophomore. The 5'8" outside hitter finished her career tied for second on the all-time kills list with 612 and fifth in digs with 839, and also placed her name among the Top 25 in program history for kill percentage (.263), blocks (56), and aces (74). Bauer was part of 57 wins and just ten losses, winning a conference and region title en route to a 2015 appearance at the NJCAA Division III National Tournament.

As a coach, Bauer has spent the past three years roaming the sidelines for club teams with Wisconsin Performance, run by former Madison College head coach Toby Parker.

Bauer is a 2015 graduate of Mukwonago HS, where she earned Classic 8 Conference co-Player of the Year honors as a senior. She was twice named Team MVP and won the team Defensive Player of the Year award in three of her four years playing varsity.

Bauer works as a Nanny, a position she has held for three years. Off the court, she enjoys eating, sleeping, and outdoor activities, like swimming and fishing.
