Amanda Matus is in her first year as assistant coach for the MATC Women’s Volleyball team under head coach Sarh (Boland) Grotsky. She has coached for Madison City Volleyball Club for four years and as a JV coach at West High School and freshman coach at Mt. Horeb High School.
Matus played for the WolfPack for two years (1998-2000) earning WTCC All-Conference, NJCAA All-Region and NJCAA Region All-Tournament Awards as the teams’ setter and outside hitter. She was voted Team Captain and Team MVP and also won the Sports Person of the Year Award in 2000.
Matus was born on March 12, 1980 in Weyerhauser, WI. She graduated from MATC with a Small Business Major.
