Travis Meikle is entering his third season as the goalkeeper coach for the Madison College men's soccer team. He had also worked with the WolfPack women's team for two seasons.
Meikle is in the early stages of his coaching career having worked as the volunteer goalkeeper coach for Monona Grove High School soccer programs since 2016, as well as part of the Kronser Keeper Academy staff in 2017.
Meikle played collegiate soccer at NCAA Division I UW-Green Bay, playing goalkeeper for the Phoenix from 2008-2011. He graduated in 2012 with a degree in Exercise Science and Business Administration. During his prep days, Meikle was a two-time All-Badger South Conference player for the Monona Grove Silver Eagles and earned honorable mention all-state accolades as a senior in 2007. He also competed for the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program from 2004-2007, earning a nomination to play on the Region II Olympic Development Program team that traveled to play in Costa Rica during his final year.
Off the pitch, Meikle works as a Product Compliance Engineer for Trek Bicycle. He also enjoys golfing, fishing, and playing volleyball.
