Peyton Trapino is entering her first season as a student assistant coach with the Madison College women's soccer team after a record-setting, two-sport career with the WolfPack.
Trapino joined the women's soccer program for the 2017 season, and helped Madison College break through several barriers with the program's first North Central Community College Conference title, Region IV and District D championships, and made the school's first appearance at the NJCAA Division III National Tournament. The first year midfielder scored the team's lone goal in Dryden, New York, and was named to the NJCAA All-Tournament Team. In 2018, she and the 'Pack defended their N4C crown and Trapino finished her soccer career with a overall record of 26-5-3. Trapino set a few other program firsts, as she was named the N4C Most Valuable Player, Region IV Player of the Year, and NJCAA First Team All-American. The two-time all-conference and all-region selection owns school records for single-season assists (23), career assists (43), and all-time points (93), while also ranking second in career goals (25).
Trapino also spent two seasons playing for the Madison College women's basketball team, earning all-conference and all-region accolades each year. She helped the WolfPack to a 40-16 record, and finished her career ranking 11th in career assists (214) and 14th in total steals (141) in program history.
At DeForest Area High School, Trapino was also a two-sport standout, earning all-conference honors twice in soccer and once in basketball. In 2014, she helped the Norskies finish runner-up at the WIAA Division 2 State Girls Basketball Tournament.
