Nicolas Piazza

Nicolas Piazza is entering his first season as an assistant coach with the women's soccer team at Madison College. Piazza returns to the WolfPack as he was a member of the men's soccer team in 2014 and 2015.

Piazza helped Madison College to a two-year record of 13-14-4, and was named second team All-Region 4 and All-North Central Community College Conference as a left back following his sophomore season. He finished his career with two goals scored, and 28 starts in 31 matches played. In 2015, Piazza was selected as the District Board Male Sportsperson of the Year.

After Madison College, Piazza continued his athletic and academic careers at NCAA Division III UW-Superior, where he helped the Yellowjackets win the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament and earn the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance. He was named to the All-UMAC Sportsmanship Team as a senior. Piazza graduated in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science.

Piazza remained at UW-Superior to begin his coaching career, and served as the associate head men's soccer coach from 2018-2023 and an assistant women's soccer coach from 2021-2023. During that time, he helped the men claim five conference titles, five conference tournament championships, and appear in four NCAA Tournaments, while the women's program reached two NCAA Tournaments after winning a pair of conference championships and tournaments.

A Fitchburg, Wisconsin, native, Piazza played soccer and wrestled at Madison West High School.

He currently resides in Madison, Wisconsin.
