Meghan Cannestra

Meghan Cannestra is in her first season as a goalkeeper coach for the Madison College women's soccer team after being hired in September 2022.

Cannestra brings four years of coaching experience to the WolfPack. Most recently she has served as the goalkeeper coach for Rush Wisconsin Soccer Club from 2018-2021. Previously, Cannestra worked as a competitive coach from 2019-2020 and coached for REC in 2018.

Cannestra played collegiate soccer at NCAA Division III UW-La Crosse, where she was a goalkeeper from 2017 to 2019. She graduated in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Biology.

As a prep, the Sussex, Wisconsin, native played for Hamilton High School and was an all-conference 'keeper for the Chargers.

Cannestra currently resides in Madison, Wisconsin, and works for UW Health.
