Caitlyn Clem is entering her first season as an assistant coach for the Madison College women's soccer team after being hired in August 2019.
Clem is just beginning her soccer coaching career and has been working as a coach in numerous soccer camps in Iceland and the US, including the well-known Camp Shutout.
Clem has spent the past two years playing professional soccer in Iceland for UMF Selfoss after a decorated career at the University of Wisconsin. The goalkeeper helped the Badgers claim a share of the 2015 Big Ten championship, and was was a two-time All-Big Ten selection and a two-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week. Clem left UW ranking third in career shutouts (28), fifth in career goals against average (.820), and eighth in all-time saves (193). The Badgers reached the NCAA Tournament all four years that Clem was on the team. She graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
Clem is a native of Okemos, Michigan, and attended Williamston High School. There she was a three-time letterwinner as a goalkeeper for the Hornets and earned first team all-state recognition as a senior.
Away from soccer, Clem is a sales pro at BSN Sports and currently resides in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.
