Anna Cappaert

Anna Cappaert is entering her second season as an assistant coach with the Madison College women's soccer team after being hired in July 2022. CappaertĀ returns to the WolfPack, where she played for three years under coach Matt Schwartz.

CappaertĀ helped make history at Madison College in 2017 as the freshman defender started 13 of 20 matches played to help the WolfPackĀ win the program's first North Central Community College Conference, NJCAA Region 4, and NJCAA Great Lakes District championships. Madison College earned its first-ever appearance at the NJCAA Division III National Tournament in Dryden, New York. After two narrow losses, the historic season ended with a 15-3-2 record to set the school-record for wins.Ā 

An injury in 2018 kept Cappaert on the sidelines, however, she returned in 2019 once again help lead the Pack to N4C and NJCAA Region 4 titles with a record of 12-4-2. She finished her career with 27-7-4 record, seeing time in all 38 matches, and logging more than 2,500 minutes. Cappaert tallied the only goal of her career in a 2-1 comeback win at Rock Valley College in 2019. She also tallied six assist in her final season, which ranks in a tie for tenth-most in a single season and 11th-most all-time at Madison College.

Cappaert finished her academics at Madison College, earning a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology.

Cappaert, a native of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, was a four-year participant and three-time letter winner in soccer at Monona Grove High School. She helped the Silver Eagles reach the WIAA Sectionals.

Cappaert currently lives in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, hanging out with friends, and watching and playing sports.
