Steve Bartow begins his first season as the head coach of the WolfPack Women’s Basketball team. Steve currently lives in Sun Prairie with his wife Carmen and his three girls, Lisa, Elizabeth, and Ashley. He will use his own athletic experiences to help guide his team this year.
Bartow was a standout basketball player for Madison West H.S.
earning first team All-State honors his senior year. In college he played for MATC and Valley City State University in North Dakota. While at Valley City State he received NAIA All-American honors and scored the winning basket to beat Eau Claire in the national tournament.
Bartow, a MATC Hall of Fame Inductee, is looking to his team’s
quickness and accurate shooting this year to bring the team success.
“I am excited to be involved with MATC Basketball again,” said Coach Bartow, “this will be an exciting season for the team and myself.”
