Stacy Williams is in her first year as the Madison Area Technical College assistant women’s basketball coach. Coach Williams returns to MATC after playing basketball here during the 1983-84 season.
Williams served as a varsity assistant coach at Madison West High School for nineteen years. Teams during her tenure achieved great success at conference, regional, and state levels.
In high school, Williams was a two-sport athlete in basketball and track at Madison West High School. In 1982, Williams, as a team captain, helped lead the Madison West girl’s basketball team to 23-2 overall record and a WIAA Class A basketball state title over Kimberly High School.
In addition to coaching, Williams serves as a special education assistant in the Madison Metropolitan School District. She currently lives in Madison and has two children, Jurell and Marquita.
