Tim Bruner is entering his second season as head men's soccer coach at Madison College. Bruner is the eighth head coach in men's soccer program history.
Bruner led the WolfPack to a 10-3-2 record in his first year, and was voted North Central Community College Conference Coach of the Year. He has coaches seven all-conference players and seven all-region recipients.
The Racine, Wisconsin, native, Bruner has been a club soccer coach for the past 18 years. He has spent the past five years coaching high school boys teams with the Madison 56ers. His teams have won three state cups, a Regional Premier Championship, and participated in the US Club National Championships.
Bruner also served as an assistant coach with the men's and women's teams at Edgewood College, including four years with the men and two years with the women.
Before coaching at the Madison 56ers, he coached at Rush Soccer Club and earned Coach of the Year honors.
Bruner was a 1998 graduate of Racine St. Catherine's, where he competed in both soccer and track & field. He attended Edgewood College and competed on both the soccer and tennis teams. He graduated from Edgewood College as the leading goal scorer in school history. To this day, his assist total (26) still ranks as the top in school history.
Bruner currently lives in Verona, Wisconsin, with his wife, Elsa, and three young daughters.
