Samuel Ramirez

Samuel Ramirez

Samuel Ramirez will make his Madison College head coaching debut in the 2012 season. Ramirez, who was an assistant with the WolfPack during the 2011 season, brings a wealth of coaching experience to the team.

He started his coaching career with the Yahara Soccer Club back in 1999, prior to holding positions with the Madison United Soccer Club, Edgewood High School, Verona U-11/U-14 Boys and Girls, as well as being the Director of Coerver Wisconsin. Coerver coaching was designed by Wiel Coerver, a soccer manager from the Netherlands, and is a method that focuses on individual skill development. It is designed to progress players in a pyramidal fashion, from ball mastery to a group attack.

Before becoming a coach, Ramirez played three years of high school soccer, suiting up for Middleton and Madison Memorial, and still competes with the Madison United Soccer Club. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and now calls Middleton, WI home.
