Jesus Benedi Oliver

Jesus Benedi is entering his second season as an assistant coach with the Madison College men's soccer team after being hired in July 2018.

Benedi had been coaching for five years in his native country of Spain. After serving as a U14 boys assistant coach for one season, he took over as head coach of the CFF Mislata women's team that competes on the second tier national division for the next two years. Benedi was named Best Head Coach in the 2014-15 season, which earned the team a promotion to the second division. He then guided that team to its best ranking in club history.

In 2016, he returned to the boys side to coach the U19 team for Huracan CF. Most recently, he spent 2018 as a soccer coach at FC Barcelona Academy. Since moving to the United States, Benedi has worked with Madison FC and Edgewood College.

Benedi studied soccer and coaching throughout his education, which included stops at Ceneted School, the Ministry of Educations, Camilo Jose Cela University, Smartfootbal Academy, and Jaume I University.

Benedi currently makes his home in Monona, Wisconsin.
