Jeff Richardson, who started the Madison Area Technical College soccer program in 1998, is in his third season as head soccer coach for the MATC Wolfpack. In two seasons at the helm, Richardson is 27-7-1 overall and finished in first place in the WTTC and WJCAA in his first two campaigns. Last year, the 2009 team finished the season with an impressive 19-3 mark, ranked ninth in the NJCAA final poll, and had the first NJCAA First Team All-American in MATC soccer history when Jorge Medina was named to the team
Richardson has coached various teams at several levels for the past 24 years including Verona High School, Madison East High School, Middleton Soccer Club, Waunakee Soccer Club, Madison 56ers Soccer Club, and Wisconsin Olympic Development team.
Richardson was born and raised in Fitchburg, WI. He currently resides there. In addition to his coaching duties at MATC, Richardson is a Job Developer for Adults with Disabilities.
