Greg Gilson is in his second season as the Madison Area Technical College head soccer coach. Gilson has coached soccer for ten years for various programs including the Madison 56ers, Yahara Soccer Club, Wisconsin Soccer Academy, and Badger Sports Complex.
In his first season, Gilson led the WolfPack to WTCC Conference and NJCAA Region XIII Championships while compiling an overall record of 8-9-2.
Coach Gilson was a three-year starter, team captain, and team MVP while playing for Moline High School in Moline, Illinois. After playing for the Olympic Development Program for three years, he attended college at UNLV and Illinois State.
Gilson was born on August 2, 1973 in Moline, IL. He currently lives and works in Madison. In addition to his coaching duties at MATC, Gilson serves as the Soccer Director for the Badger Sports Complex.
