Greg Gilson is in his first season as the Madison Area Technical College head soccer coach. Gilson has coached soccer for nine years for various programs including the Madison 56ers, Yahara Soccer Club, and for the Wisconsin Soccer Academy.
Coach Gilson was a three-year starter, team captain, and team MVP while playing for Moline High School in Moline, Illinois. After playing for the Olympic Development Program for three years he attended college at UNLV and Illinois State.
Gilson was born on August 2, 1973 in Moline, IL. He currently lives and works in Madison. Gilson serves as Soccer Program Director for Badger Sports Complex.
