Gabriel Marin-Cabello

Gabriel Marin-Cabello is in his second year as an assistant coach for the Madison College men's soccer team.

Marin-Cabello is a native of Santiago, Chile, and comes to the WolfPack with loads of soccer experience, having coached in the sport for the past 11 years. Most recently, he has put his stamp on local youth soccer as head coach of the Magic SC U18 team (2016) and varsity assistant at Monona Grove HS (2015). Marin-Cabello has also added his touch to the areas top soccer club, the Madison 56ers, as an assistant for two year. In 2015, he helped them claim a Premier League of America West Conference title.

In addition, Marin-Cabello has been involved at numerous levels of the DC United program in Washington D.C. He has served as a fitness and athletic development coach, and helped the U14 squad win the title at 2016 Montreal Impact Invitational.

A fluent speaker of three languages (Spanish, English, and French), Marin-Cabello is also a Spanish teacher throughout the Madison area. He earned a degree in Education/Physical Education in 2007 from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile. Marin-Cabello currently resides in Madison, Wisconsin.
