Antonio Paredes

Following two seasons as an assistant coach for the Madison College men's soccer team, Antonio Paredes will serve as the interim head coach for the 2020-21 season. Paredes was hired onto the coach staff of former head coach Cory Sims in June 2018.

Paredes spent the 2017 season working as a manager and statistician for the WolfPack. Additionally, he has worked as a head coach and an assistant coach in the Verona Soccer Club in 2015 and 2016.

Paredes played for Madison College and coach Cory Sims in 2014 and 2015, racking up a record of 13-14-4. He saw time as a defender in 26 games with 14 starts and more than 900 minutes. Paredes lone career point was an assist in a 4-2 win over Triton College on September 16, 2015. Paredes also started one game as goalkeeper, allowing three goals and making one save in a full 90 minutes against Joliet Junior College on October 21, 2015. He earned North Central Community College Conference (N4C) Academic All-Conference honors in 2014-15 and 2015-16.

A 2014 graduate of Madison East High School, Paredes played a couple of seasons of varsity soccer for the Purgolders.

Paredes finished his liberal arts curriculum and a recreation management associate's degree at Madison College in 2018. He and his wife, current women's soccer coach Brandie Paredes, currently live in Madison, Wisconsin
