Madison College Wolfpack

Kegler is entering his second year as the Madison College men's basketball assistant coach. He brings leadership, good communication skills, and a solid work ethic to the Men's Basketball program. He has experience coaching basketball as a camp coach at the University of Minnesota (2007 & 2009) and at Marquette University (2009).

Coach Kegler played on the UW-La Crosse Men's Basketball team from 2004-2008 at the forward position. He participated in one of their most successful seasons in 20 years. He served as team captain his senior season and organized pre-season conditioning and strength training sessions for the team. In addtion to these accomplishments, Kegler also was a recipient of the UW-La Crosse Men's Basketball Dedication and Team Unity Award and was nominated to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Conference All-Sportsmanship Team.

The Waterloo native and UW-La Crosse graduate, with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with a major in Sport Management, is currently working to get his Masters of Recreation, Sport, and Tourism at the University of Illinois Global Campus. During the summer of 2007, Kegler worked as a Registration Intern in Minneapolis, MN where he worked for the National Sports Center. He coordinated registration procedures for teams and contributed to the planning of some of the biggest amateur sports events in the country.

Coach Kegler is currently the Facility and Event Director at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells where he leads day to day operations and is the Director of the JustAgame Select AAU Basketball program.
