Scheffler will be in his first season as assistant men’s basketball coach. Scheffler comes to MATC from Seattle Pacific University where he served as assistant coach for four seasons.
Coach Scheffler was a four-year letterwinner while playing basketball at Roosevelt High School in Seattle, Washington. After graduating from high school in 1992 he attended college at Seattle Pacific University where he was a four-year letterwinnering guard. In 1998, his Seattle Pacific team made it to the third round of the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Tournament with a win over the top ranked team in the nation. Scheffler currently lives with his wife, Cara, in Madison.
