Parker Schrage returns to the Madison College baseball team for his fourth season serving as the team's pitching coach.
Schrage played for the WolfPack in 2010 and 2011, helping the team to a third place national finish his sophomore season. In two years at Madison College, the righthander compiled a 10-2 record with one save in 28 appearances and 14 starts. In 97 1/3 innings of work, Schrage posted a 4.25 ERA, with six complete games, and 59 strikeouts.
After he left Madison College, Schrage pitched for the University of Dayton for two seasons, helping the Flyers to their first-ever regional appearance in 2012. In 2013, the Mt. Calvary, Wisconsin, native was a student assistant coach for Dayton.
In his high school playing days, Schrage was a four-sport star, participating in baseball, basketball, football, and track and field at New Holstein HS. He was named a WBCA All-State pitcher in 2009.
Away from baseball, Schrage works as a researcher at Covance in Madison.
