No stranger to the Madison College baseball team, Jake Page, the 2012 Region IV MVP for the WolfPack, returns to coach as a first year asistant under Mike Davenport. Page lettered twice for the 'Pack, playing catcher in both the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
A 2009 graduate of Madison East High School, Page spent the past season serving as the hitting and catching coach for the Purgolders. In his time as a high school player, he finished with a .400 career batting average, being named all-conference in '08 and '09.
Page also played summer baseball for the Madison Mallards and Rochester Honkers of the Northwoods League, as well as in the Prospect League with the Terre Haute Rex.
Currently a preschool teacher away from the field, Page hopes to bring a "different personality" to the WolfPack, while "preaching a hitting philosophy and catching philosophy" he picked up during his time as a player.
