Eliot Turnquist

Eliot Turnquist is entering his second season as an assistant coach for the Madison College baseball team after being hired prior to the 2024 season. He return to the WolfPack after playing for the team from 2018 to 2020.

After red-shirting his first season, Turnquist earned First Team All-North Central Community College Conference and Region 4 accolades as a freshman. The righthanded pitcher broke the school record for saves in a season with nine and posted a 1.69 ERA over 37.1 innings. Madison College went 29-24 that season, claiming conference and region titles en route to an appearance in the NJCAA Division II World Series. His earned run averaged still ranks 18th in program history. Turnquist and his teammates lost their 2020 season due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Following his time at Madison College, Turnquist went on to play at NCAA Division I Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, for the 2021 season. He appeared in five games and posted an 0-1 record with a 7.20 ERA over 5.0 innings. Turnquist then transferred to NCAA Division I UW-Milwaukee where he pitched for the Panthers during the 2022 and 2023 campaigns. His time at UWM ended with a 4-3 record and one save in 21 total appearances, with a 6.37 ERA and 62 strikeouts. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Communications, and is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Marketing at UW-Milwaukee.

As a prep at Columbus High School, Turnquist played baseball and basketball, earning a total of three varsity letters. He was a three-time all-conference pitcher and selected to the WBCA All-Star Game.
