Cameron Cratic is entering his second season as an assistant coach for the Madison College baseball team. He returns to the WolfPack after spending three years playing under head coach Mike Davenport. In August 2025, Cam was also hired as the strength & conditioning coordinator for Madison College Athletics.
Cam put together a breakout freshman season in 2018, helping Madison College to a Region 4 title and a fifth place finish at the NJCAA Division II World Series with a record of 35-22. The First Team All-North Central Community College Conference selection led the team with 47 runs scored, while batting .361 with 61 hits and driving in 26 runs. Cam also posted a .941 fielding percentage as an everyday outfielder. Plans for a big sophomore season in 2019 were derailed nine games in with a season-ending injury, and his second attempt at a second season was wiped out in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
Cam moved on to NCAA Division I Missouri State University, where he excelled on and off the field for three years. Named First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference and MVC All-Tournament, he finished his time with the Bears batting .299 with 132 hits, 72 runs scored, 71 RBI, 14 home runs, and ten stolen bases over 127 games played. His long list of accomplishments also includes: MSU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, two-time CSC Academic All-District and MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team, MVC Dr. Charlotte West Award recipient, MVC Presidents Council Academic Award, and two-time MVC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.
During his prep years at Madison East High School, Cam was a four-sport athlete and nine-time letter winner. He took home numerous all-conference, all-city, and all-area recognition for his play on the diamond.
Cam currently resides in his hometown of Madison.
