MADISON, WISC. - Freshman
Jamera Green caught fire in the third quarter Tuesday night and it led to a career performance as the Madison College women's basketball team tore through Region 4 and in-state rival Bryant & Stratton College by a 92-55 victory inside
H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium. Green became the third player in program history and the first since 2023-24 to make seven 3-pointers in a game as she posted a career-high 29 points. The WolfPack win snapped a five-game losing streak against the Bobcats, who still own a 6-3 edge in the all-time series.
Madison College led by ten entering the second half, and used a 9-3 surge to take a 47-31 lead before Green hit the first of four 3-pointers over a two-minute stretch. The four triples all came consecutively for the Pack in a personal 12-2 run for Green to help her team take a 60-35 lead. The momentum continued into the fourth quarter, which the WolfPack dominated by a 30-15 score and included the final 11 points of the game.
The opening quarter was very competitive, with two ties and five lead changes before Madison took a 19-16 lead on a Green layup with 11 seconds to go. The WolfPack opened the second quarter with a 19-6 scoring run before Bryant & Stratton College (10-11) tacked on six points to make it 38-28 at the break. Green hit back-to-back three's in the sequence.
Green, a 5'3" guard from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, finished 7 of 14 from long range to join Jenna Endres (four times) and Kayla Staveness as the only players in program history to make seven or more in a single game. She was 11 for 20 overall and finished with a career-best 29 points for her tenth double-digit scoring game this season, and her third game with three or more makes from beyond the arc.
Second year forward
Dani Latz had 14 points and eight rebounds on the night as the Bloomer, Wisconsin, native, went 7 for 9 from the floor. Freshman
Serinity Metcalfe also reached 14 points, to go along with four boards, three assists, and two steals. She was 6 of 9 overall with one 3-pointer and a free throw.
Forward
Maddi DeSmet posted her third double-double of the season with ten points and a team-high 12 rebounds. The former Belleville HS athlete was also tops with six assists - a career-high - and four blocks. Fellow freshman
Ava Landrum came off the bench to also score ten points and grab four rebounds.
Keelyn Zwirschitz matched DeSmet for the team lead with six assists.
Madison College recorded their third game of 2025-26 with a shooting percentage of 50% or better as they went 37 for 67 (55%), while also converting 11 of 27 (40%) from deep and 7 of 8 (87%) at the stripe. The WolfPack won the rebounding battle by a 40-23 margin, leading to a 22-12 edge in second chance points and a 42-22 lead in points in the paint. They were also better in points off turnovers by a 32-15 margin.
Tuesday's game featured a recognition of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, and at halftime of the game, the Madison College Athletics Department recognized the members of the
Fall 2025 WolfPack 9 for their academic success.

Madison College (18-3) was schedule to travel to Illinois Valley Community College (9-14) on Saturday, February 7; however, that game has been canceled. The WolfPack return to action Tuesday, February 10 for a Region 4 and in-state showdown with Milwaukee Area Technical College (12-11).
