The Madison College Athletics Department announced a group of outstanding former student-athletes to be inducted into the Madison College Athletic Hall of Fame as the Class of 2026. Former student-athletes Shane Ellis (men's basketball), Brandon Gibis (baseball), Patrick Houlihan (men's soccer), and Brock Roder (men's basketball) will be inducted during a ceremony held on Thursday, October 8 at Madison College Truax Campus to open the department's second annual Athletics Alumni Weekend. Additionally, long-time women's basketball assistant coach Mike Mayfield will be presented the Doug Redsten Memorial Service Award. Registration is now open, with tickets available for $40.
"Madison College Athletics has a rich history of success and this class of inductees surely demonstrates that. This group of student-athletes are not only phenomenal in their sports, but they are also good representatives of Madison College. We are proud to welcome them back and add these inductees to our distinguished Athletics Hall of Fame," commented Director of Athletics Jason Verhelst.

Shane Ellis (Men's Basketball; 2000-02)
- NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American
- Led WolfPack to two WTCC championships
- Two-time all-conference and all-region honoree
- Ranks seventh in scoring with 981 points, fifth in blocks with 51, sixth in steals with 119, and 12th in rebounds with 406
Brandon Gibis (Baseball; 2014-15)
- NJCAA Third Team All-American
- Led Madison College to back-to-back World Series appearances, Region 4 and N4C crowns
- Ranks second in career hits with 143, fourth in runs scored with 109, and ninth in batting average at .402
- Selected Madison College District Board Male Sportsperson of the Year and Top Male Scholar Athlete
- 2026 NJCAA Region 4 Hall of Fame Inductee
Patrick Houlihan (Soccer; 2000 & 2002)
- Led Madison College to two NJCAA District Championship games
- Helped the WolfPack to conference, state, and region titles each year
- Two-time all-conference pick, and one-time all-state and all-region
- Ranks third in scoring (30) and total points(69) after holding those records for 15 years
Brock Roder (Men's Basketball; 1999-2001)
- Led Madison College to a WTCC championship
- Ranks second program history in steals with 154 and 14th in assists with 192
- Two-time academic all-conference
Doug Redsten Memorial Service Award
Mike Mayfield (Women's Basketball; 2006-present)
- Assistant coach for women's basketball for 19 years and one year as co-head coach
- Helped lead the WolfPack to the 2010 NJCAA Division III National Championship
- Assisted in Madison College winning four conference and four region titles
