WolfPack's Kiltz named NJCAA Division II Player of the Week

Sophomore scored five goals over last two matches

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has named Madison College sophomore Josh Kiltz the NJCAA Men's Soccer Division II Player of the Week for the week of October 5-11. The honor is the first for Kiltz and the first for WolfPack men's soccer since Gabe Voung earned the Division III recognition in August 2022.

Kiltz, a native of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, opened the week with his first career hat trick, scoring three goals in a 4-0 win at Rock Valley College on Wednesday. The midfielder/forward followed it up Saturday with two more goals in the WolfPack's 6-0 defeated of Bryant & Stratton College. Over the two matches, Kiltz amassed ten points, 11 total shots, and nine shots on goal.

Kiltz currently leads Madison College with eight goals scored on the season, to go along with two assists. The WolfPack are 9-1-2 and ranked #8 in the latest NJCAA Division II Poll heading into today's Region 4 match with the College of DuPage (2-6-4). Kickoff at Irwin A. & Robert D. Goodman Pitch-East is set for 3:00 p.m. and will stream live at MadisonCollege.tv.
