Madison College Athletics will unite its storied past with its amazing present in a new annual event, Alumni Weekend, starting in the Fall 2025 semester. The inaugural Madison College Athletics Alumni Weekend is scheduled for October 9-11, 2025, and will be held every second weekend in October going forward. The event invites student-athletes from the past to celebrate their successes while reuniting with former teammates and coaches. At the same time, alumni will have the opportunity to spend time with current WolfPack teams and staff.

Alumni Weekend will begin with the Madison College Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Thursday, October 9 at Dahmen's at Hawks Landing in Verona, Wisconsin. This will mark the permanent shift of the hall of fame induction from a spring event to a fall one, with the 2025 calendar year featuring two separate induction classes. The ceremony will run from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

On Friday, October 10, alumni and WolfPack supporters are invited to get a free tour - and a free gift - of the Madison College Truax Campus at 11:00 a.m. and then reconvene for Big Dog's Alumni Social at Vitense Golfland in Madison for a night of fun, food, and community. Big Dog's Alumni Social, a replacement to Big Dog's Annual Alumni Golf & Bags Classic, will go from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and include golf, live auctions, raffles, and music.

Additionally, all Madison College teams will conduct in-season or out-of-season events during the three days, with invitations for alumni to attend. Currently, the WolfPack volleyball team is scheduled to host a four-team Madison College Quad on Friday inside H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium, while the WolfPack men's and women's soccer teams will host a doubleheader against Prairie State College at Irwin A. & Robert D. Goodman Pitch - East on Saturday. Details for additional activities and events with the other six varsity teams will be announced at a later date.

"We are extremely thrilled to continue to try new events to get our alumni involved with our current teams and student-athletes," stated Director of Athletics Jason Verhelst. "I look forward to the weekend and seeing so many of our alumni back on campus, at the hall of fame induction, and at Big Dog's Alumni Social. We've made tremendous strides with our facilities and our department that I think our alumni base will enjoy seeing, as well as getting to interact with our current student-athletes and coaches."
