The milestone 50th year at Madison College for Hall of Famer Gary "Big Dog" Breneman started Monday with his 2nd Big Dog's Annual Alumni Golf & Bags Classic at Pioneer Pointe Golf Course. Those in attendance were witness to the unveiling of three future celebrations in recognition of Big Dog's dedication to Madison College and WolfPack Athletics. The events are scheduled for October 8, February 1, and April 19, with each including a special dedication or announcement.

October 8 - Women's Volleyball vs. Kankakee Community College (5:30 p.m.)
Before first serve, the Madison College Athletics Department will officially unveil a new-look concession stand outside H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium with a ceremony at 5:00 p.m. In addition, a new meal option will be available at all future sporting events hosted by Madison College. A gathering will be held following the match.

February 1 - Women's & Men's Basketball vs. Carl Sandburg College (12:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m.)
Before tip-off of the men's contest, the Madison College Athletics Department will make a special scholarship announcement. Currently, WolfPack supporters can donate to the scholarship to recognize Big Dog with a unique $50 for 50 Years Scholarship Campaign. All donors will receive a special Big Dog t-shirt and have their name entered once for every $50 donated to win a FREE foursome for the 3rd Big Dog's Annual Alumni Golf & Bags Classic in August 2025. A gathering will be held following the men's game.

April 19 - Baseball DH vs. Triton College (12:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.) | Softball Triangular vs. McHenry County College & Carl Sandburg College (TBA)
Join the WolfPack and special guests for a tailgate party before and during the day's baseball and softball games in recognition of Big Dog. The athletics department will officially unveil a one-of-a-kind scoreboard added to Robin Roberts Field.

Big Dog supporters, fans, and friends can also submit messages of congratulations and memories via the Celebrate Big Dog's 50th Year at Madison College form. Messages can be video (preferred), audio, or written.
