Athletic scholarship fundraiser shifts to new venue ahead of Big Dog's 50th year at Madison College

Big Dog's Annual Alumni Golf & Bags Classic is returning for a second run, and doing so at a new location. Following a successful debut, the student-athlete athletic scholarship fundraising event moves west of Madison to Pioneer Pointe Golf Club in Verona, Wisconsin, on Monday, August 12, 2024. This true combination event will include a unique 13 holes of golf on an executive course and a bags (aka... cornhole) competition that will all factor into an overall team score for championship prizes at the end. Proceeds from the event will help fund student-athlete scholarships after Madison College finished its first academic calendar with all varsity teams competing at the NJCAA Division II level.

Event Host and Manager Emeritus Gary "Big Dog" Breneman is excited to invite ALL alumni to this annual event that will feature a 90-minute lunch and social hour in between the two featured activities. The 2024 edition will also act as the kickoff celebration to Big Dog's 50th year at Madison College. Former Madison College teams are encouraged to use this for schedule team reunions and celebrations. It is also open to the public.

Your registration includes 13-holes of golf at Pioneer Pointe Golf Club (3730 Manistee Way, Verona, WI), a lunch and social hour, and a bags tournament. Each foursome will generate a combined score between the two events.

3:00 PM - Final Awards Ceremony
