A photo of Madison College men's soccer players Jamie Le Comte and Gabe Voung celebrating a goal earned second place at the Associated Collegiate Press Best of Show during the Fall National College Media Convention on November 1 in Atlanta, Georgia. The picture was taken and submitted by Ethan James, a photojournalist for Madison College's The Clarion student newspaper, and finished runner-up nationally in the category of Photojournalism: Sports Photo.

James, a sophomore from Kaukauna, Wisconsin, beat out numerous other submitted sports photos from students at four-year and two-year institutions across the country. The captured moment came after Voung, a sophomore and the all-time leading goal scorer in Madison College history, gave the WolfPack a 1-0 lead in the 8' against Illinois Valley Community College. The game eventually ended in a 1-1 draw.

James has also had his photography featured in many social media posts by the Madison College women's basketball and volleyball teams.
