Match #1: #13 Madison College 3, Minnesota West Community & Technical College 1 (22-25, 25-11, 25-15, 25-18)
The WolfPack appeared to be on their way to a set one win to begin the day's action after building a 16-11 lead following a pair
Daryn Schaefer aces, however, Minnesota State Community & Technical College (3-6) rallied to even the score at 20-20. A
Kendall Weisensel kill and a
Katie Wagner ace put the Pack up 22-21. The Lady Jays responded with four consecutive points to win the set. Madison College then responded in a big way turning a 4-4 tie in set two into a 14-point victory. The WolfPack was ahead 17-7 when MWCTC took a timeout, and after losing the service, came back with consecutive aces from
Tyra Anderson before cruising to the win.
In set three, the visitors were up 3-0 when Madison College went on a 9-1 run to gain control and win by ten. They followed in the fourth with a 12-1 start done mostly on the service rally of Weisensel. On their way to another double-digit set win, the WolfPack let off the gas and allowed the Lady Jays to get within 19-15 before closing it out.

The day's second match featured only one truly competitive set. The WolfPack opened set one with a 7-3 lead, and eventually lead by as much as nine at 21-12 before earning the nine-point win. Set two was a back-and-forth contest that was even at 14-14 before the Pack took a 23-18 advantage. Lakeland University JV (0-3) did not go down without a fight, closing to 23-21 and forcing a Madison College timeout before the home team used side out volleyball to win the set. The day's final set was all Madison College, taking a 10-4 lead out of the gate and eventually owning a nine-point cushion en route to the 25-17 decision.
