MADISON, WISC. - After scoring nine goals over their first three matches and going 2-0-1, the Madison College women's soccer team has now been held without a goal in back-to-back matches after suffering a second consecutive loss Wednesday night with a 3-0 setback to Bryant & Stratton College at
Irwin A. & Robert D. Goodman Pitch-East. The WolfPack have not scored a goal over their last 220 minutes on the pitch. The loss drops the Pack to 0-4 in head-to-head matchups with the Bobcats.
Visiting Bryant & Stratton College (2-1) controlled the ball most of the first half, generating an 8-1 lead in total shots and putting six of those shots on goal. WolfPack starting goalkeeper
Olivia Lange came up with five saves, however, the Bobcats were able to beat her with a goal in the 30' to take a 1-0 lead.
Despite some more offensive pressure by Madison College, the Bobcats netted two more goals on a 7-3 edge in total shots in the second half. With fellow freshman
Morgan Thompson now in net, Bryant & Stratton College advanced their lead in scoring strikes in the 52' and 59' for a little insurance. Thompson finished with three saves.
Three players for the WolfPack were able to register a shot, led by freshman midfielder
Kierstin McHugh with two total shots and one on goal. Sophomore
Liz Foye and freshman
Savi Pursley, both midfielders, each had on shot on goal, as well.

Madison College (2-2-1) is off for the next two weeks as the result of a canceled match against in-state rival Milwaukee Area Technical College. The WolfPack will now open North Central Community College Conference play on September 14 against Harper College at
Irwin A. & Robert D. Goodman Pitch-East. Madison College has won three straight and eight of the past nine meetings with the Hawks en route to a 10-4 all-time record. Game time is slated for 2:00 p.m. The match can be seen live at
