MADISON, WISC. - Following Tuesday's emotional five-set loss at #9 Rock Valley College, the Madison College women's volleyball team regrouped in impressive fashion with a four-set victory over three-time defending national finalist and North Central Community College Conference champion, Harper College on Thursday. Playing inside
H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium for just the second time this season, the WolfPack picked up its biggest win of the season with a 25-23, 25-20, 21-25, 25-15 decision over the
#5-ranked Hawks. The first victory over Harper College (11-8) since 2015 brings a six-game losing streak to an end and put the 'Pack ahead 17-15 in the all-time series.
Madison College started slow in each of the first three sets, however, the home team was able to recover in both the first and second sets to earn wins. After the Hawks held off a third straight rally in the third, the WolfPack put all phases together in the fourth to roll to a ten-point decision that capped the most challenging week on the schedule so far.
Thanks to a match-high .270 attack percentage with 16 kills on 37 attempts, the WolfPack finished the match with a .144 efficiency and 39 kills. A real difference in the game was at the service line, where the 'Pack registered 16 aces to match a season-high for the fourth time. The home team also established a new season-high mark with 81 digs.
Sophomore

Setter

Along the back line, sophomore libero
