MADISON, WISC. - The Madison College softball team had a quick turnaround to erase the thoughts and lingering feeling from Friday's sweep at the hands of Rock Valley College, and they did so with a resounding 9-0 win in five innings against McHenry County College on Saturday. Hannah Jensen drove in
Breanna Bollig with a single to left for the game's first run.
Brooke Heck scored two batters later thanks to an error on the third baseman. Madison College had five hits in the inning, a sign of big things to come.
After a scoreless second, the home team rattled off a five-run, six-hit third inning break the game open. The hit parade stared with a double by Jensen and a triple by
Bailey Kratt.

Brenna Seeber, and Heck also registered hits, with Heck's single to center driving in two runs for a 7-0 lead.
Madison College made it 9-0 in the fourth as
Summer Zachow - pinch running for Jensen - and Kratt both touched home on a Holt single to center.
Hannah Jensen (10-9) returned to the winner's circle, closing out the run rule win with a four-batter top of the fifth. The righthander scattered three hits and struck out three in earning his second complete game shutout of the season.
Jensen was also one of five 'Pack bats to record more than one hit.
