WolfPack Women’s Soccer Shutout by Rock Valley

Fresh of a blowout win in their season, conference, and home opener, the WolfPack just couldn't get the ball rolling against a tough Rock Valley College Golden Eagles team as they were shutout 4-0. Rock Valley scored two goals in each half, and outshot the WolfPack 28 to 10. Rock Valley had 10 shots compared to Madison's seven first half shots, and the second half was no different. The Golden Eagles recorded 18 shots to the 'Pack's three.
 
Goalkeeper time for Madison College was split evenly as Lindsay Hamilton and Anastasia Mlatawou both played 45 minutes in the net. Hamilton received the start and recorded six saves while allowing two goals, and Mlatawou came in off the bench and added 12 saves while allowing two goals.
 
The now 1-1 overall and 1-1 (N4C) WolfPack remain in conference play, but return home to face the Joliet Junior College Wolves at 4:00 PM on September 9.
