The Madison College women's soccer team won their second straight game with a 4-2 victory over College of Lake County on Wednesday night in Grayslake, IL. The WolfPack jumped out two a 2-0 lead before the Lancers answered with a goal of their own. The 'Pack scored another goal towards the end of the half to lead 3-1. Both teams traded goals about a minute a part in the second half and the WolfPack held on for a 4-2 win.
Former DeForest High School student-athlete,
Tynia Goldensoph, had a hat trick, scoring three goals in the first half while teammate
Katie Travis had three assists in the game. Erika Lopez scored the second half goal on a
Katie Travis assist.
Arianna Viscarra assisted on Goldensoph's first goal. The WolfPack outshot the host Lancers 20-16. Madison College goalie,
Lindsay Hamilton made a game-high 11 saves and allowed just two goals in 90 minutes of action.
The WolfPack will face conference opponent, Triton College, on Friday in River Grove, IL at 4:00 p.m. Madison College is currently 4-3 overall and 2-3 in conference play.
