On Friday night in Palatine, IL, the Madison College women's soccer team scored first and held a 1-0 lead into the break but the Hawks scored twice in the second half to win 2-1.
In the first half, second year midfielder,
Jamie Hess, scored on a pass from former Pulaski athlete,
Maria Bukowiec. The WolfPack held the lead until about five minutes into the second half when Harper College's Kassidy Kushner scored the first of two goals. With the score tied in the 63rd minute, Kushner scored another goal to give the Hawks the lead for good.
Harper College out shot the visiting WolfPack 20-7. Madison College goalie,
Lindsay Hamilton made 11 saves and allowed two goals in 90 minutes of action.
With the loss, the Madison College women's soccer team fell to 2-3 overall and in conference play. The WolfPack play South Suburban College on Monday in South Holland, IL at 4:00 p.m.
