The Madison College women's basketball team jumped out and never looked back as they rolled over the Fox Valley Technical College Foxes 75-53 in Appleton on Monday night. After the 22 point win, the WolfPack have now swept the season series with the Foxes, and hold a scoring differential of 161 to 107.
Â
The WolfPack ran out to a 44-25 halftime leading by outshooting the host Foxes 38 to 26 percent, and were also effective from the beyond the arc and at the free throw line. The 'Pack knocked down five three-point shots to the Foxes' three, and Madison also dropped in nine free throws to Fox Valley's two.
Â
With the 19 point halftime lead, the Madison bench was able to get into the action and secure some valuable playing time. Out of the nine players on the team, all nine registered at least 14 minutes of court time, and six players went over the 20 minutes played mark. The WolfPack bench not only provided minutes, they provided points as well. Madison's players of the bench score 33 points, while the Foxes' bench players only contributed two.
