The Madison College men's soccer team didn't get the revenge they might have been looking for Wednesday night, but still, after a 1-1 draw with Joliet Junior College, they remain undefeated in N4C play. In contrast, last year the Wolves ended the WolfPack's season, handing them a 1-0 playoff loss.
This time around, the 'Pack would strike first, getting a goal from
Tim Kennedy in the game's 19th minute. Kennedy's goal was unassisted.
Roughly 15 minutes later, Joliet found their answer, as Leatile Masula used an assist from Louis Lizca to beat Madison College goalie
Thomas Sheahan. The Wolves goal came in the 34th minute.
Entering the second half tied 1-1, neither team would be able to get the go-ahead goal in the game's final 45 minutes. For the game, Madison College finished with three more shots on net than Joliet.
Sheahan tallied five saves for the WolfPack in the game.
Madison College (3-3-1, 3-0-1) will look to remain unbeaten in conference play as they visit rival Milwaukee Area Technical College Friday at 4 p.m. In two meetings with the Stormers last season, the WolfPack collected the sweep, winning 1-0 and 5-1.
