The Madison College men's soccer team got off the schnide Saturday. Hosting UW-Baraboo, the WolfPack beat the Fighting Spirits 4-0, outshooting their opponent 36-1 in the process.
In the first half, it was
Tim Kennedy (14:56) and
Harley Schultz (28:54) getting the goals for Madison College. Schultz scored off an assist from sophomore
Elliot Pieper.
Up 2-0 entering the second,
Muhammed Jarjue helped control the pace for the 'Pack. Jarjue scored each of the team's two goals in the final 45 minutes, his second coming off an assist from Kennedy. Jarjue's goals came in the 49th and 54th minute, respectively.
For the game, Madison College finished with 23 shots on goal, while UW-Baraboo never managed to put a ball on net.
The WolfPack (5-6-1, 4-3-1) will visit Joliet Junior College Wednesday. Earlier this season the two teams played to a 1-1 draw. Wednesday's game is slated to kickoff at 4 p.m.
