Men's soccer explodes offensively versus Milwaukee

Box Score After being outscored by a total of 6-1 their last two games, the Madison College men's soccer team took out some frustration on North Central Community College Conference (N4C) rival Milwaukee Area Technical College Wednesday afternoon. The WolfPack routed the Stormers in their regular-season finale, winning 7-0.

Scoring just one goal in the first 45 minutes, courtesy of Harley Schultz at 35:49, the 'Pack exploded for six second half goals. Following Samuel Lamarche finding the back of the net in the 49th minute, Madison College scored their next four goals in a 13-minute span. Mikel Appiah (61st minute), Timothy Vallon (67th minute), Tim Kennedy (68th minute) and Yacouba Koita (74th minute) accounted for the quick scoring punch.

Richard Campbell registered the game's final goal, beating Dominique Lubsey in the 83rd minute. Casey Risch finished with two assists for the WolfPack.

Defensively, Madison College goalie Thomas Sheahan made two saves in the winning effort. The WolfPack outshot Milwaukee 27-6 in the matchup, including an 11-2 advantage in shots on goal.

Madison College (6-8-1, 5-4-1) will next host Rock Valley College in the NJCAA Region IV Tournament. The quarterfinal matchup is set to get underway Saturday at noon.
