WolfPack soccer trying to turn back the clock

The last time the Madison College soccer team started a season 2-0 was 2007. That year, they went on to compile a 15-1-1 mark, with their only loss coming in the NJCAA District Title. Friday, Sept. 6, after back-to-back one-win seasons, the team has a chance to open 2013 just as strong, if they can get by North Central Community College Conference (N4C) foe Harper College.

The WolfPack will enter the matchup fresh off a 1-0 win over another conference competitor in Milwaukee Area Technical College. In their season opener, the 'Pack really controlled the pace of play, outshooting their in-state rival 18-3.

Harper College has already played in three games so far this season. However, the Hawks are still searching for their first win. Their last game, against Triton College, resulted in a 4-2 loss. Harper has given up 13 total goals.

The game against the Hawks will mark the home opener for the WolfPack. Kickoff at Warner Park Field #1 is scheduled for 7 p.m.
