WolfPack soccer defeated by Kishwaukee

The Madison College soccer team lost their game Saturday against Kishwaukee College, a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI team. The final score was 3-1.

Kishwaukee took the lead fairly quickly with a goal from Ryan Black (assisted by Alex Nava) in the ninth minute. Shortly afterwards, in the 12th minute, Black put the ball past Madison College goaltender Juan Martinez-Perez once again, this time assisted by Jarod Laxner.

The second half of the game looked a little better for the 'Pack when Matthew Bodeau scored an unassisted goal in the 77th minute, but Alex Bueno of Kishwaukee, unassisted, scored one more for his team in the 81st minute.

Despite the unfortunate loss, Martinez-Perez did manage to make eight saves for Madison College. The WolfPack's four shots fell far short of Kishwaushee's 22.

The next game for the WolfPack soccer team will be Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. in Palatine, Ill. against Harper College.
