WolfPack women take down Elgin CC

Box Score The Madison College women's basketball team emerged victorious over Elgin Community College on Tuesday night in the H. Douglass Redsten Gymnasium, maintaining their now four-game winning streak. It was their second home game of the season.

In the first half, the WolfPack racked up a healthy 15-point lead on Elgin. They never lost that lead, either: accumulating another 37 points in the second half, Madison College ended the game with 80 points while Elgin finished with 58.

Players for the WolfPack gave a solid performance. Gabrielle Hood led the way with 20 points and seven assists, closely followed by Brittany Kaltenburg with 18 points. Meanwhile, Nicole Hoffmann racked up 11 points and six rebounds while Bri Hicks contributed eight points and 12 rebounds.

This game puts Madison College's record at 5-2 overall. They have yet to play a conference game. Their next game takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 6 P.M. in La Crosse, Wis., where they will take on Western Technical College.
