Box Score Spurred by Gabrielle Hood's 16-point performance, the WolfPack women's basketball team won their home-opener Monday evening. The team took out Fox Valley Technical College 68-48.

Neither team got off to a great start in the opening half, with the WolfPack hitting just 23 percent of their shots and the Foxes 20 percent. Still, Madison College took a nine point lead into the break.

In the second half, Madison College would start to find their rhythm. The team would almost double their offensive output, scoring 43 points on 16-of-34 shooting to pull away. For the game, the WolfPack bench outscored their Fox Valley Tech. contemporaries 30-0.

Defensively, the WolfPack came away with an impressive 19 steals. Nicole Hoffman also added two blocks.

Madison College (2-2, 0-0) next visits Olive-Harvey College in Chicago, Ill. Saturday. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m.
