Help the 'Pack Jam the Gym This Saturday

The Madison College basketball teams are back in action at home this Saturday, February 18th, and they need your help to Jam the Gym for their matchup against College of DuPage. The women's game will tip off at 5:00 PM, while the men's game gets going at 7:00 PM.

The last time the Madison College men's basketball team (7-18, 4-7) met up with the Chaparrals (10-17, 1-10) it was a barnburner. The WolfPack, playing at College of DuPage earlier this season, squeaked out a 63-62 overtime victory. Sophomore big man Garrett Borgrud was the star of the show for the 'Pack, picking up a team-high 17 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the field (47%). However, the team will need to do a better job defensively against Yeremiah Crutcher. Crutcher, a sophomore from Chicago, scored a game-high 18 points in the last meeting.

The Madison College women's basketball team (14-9, 4-3) also picked up a win in their previous meeting with College of DuPage (4-17, 2-4). The 'Pack held the Chaparrals to just 27% shooting on their way to a 56-47 victory. Kinsey Mace tallied a game-high 17 points, with Courtney Spangler (12) and Tanya Kaufmann (11) each scoring in double-digits as well. College of DuPage kept it close by forcing 23 WolfPack turnovers.

Come out and support your Madison College basketball teams as they look to Jam the Gym, and pick up another important conference victory.
